How to Add Gift Wraping

Post a Rating and Review:

When on the page of the product you want to rate and review, simply scroll to the bottom of the page.

To write a review, click on ‘Write a Review’ at the bottom of the list of previous customer reviews.

 

Step 2:

Next, choose your rating and enter your Review Title, Name and Comments.

Enter the security word where it says characters (in this example, ‘WORLD’).

Complete, by clicking ‘Submit Review’.

Q Do you deliver internationally?
A  No. We only deliver to the United Kingdom Mainland, Northern Ireland, Channel Islands (Guernsey and Jersey), Scottish Islands and the Isle of Mann.

Q How do I return a product?
A  Please contact us through our customer support, with the reasons why you want to return your product(s). We will ask you whether you want a refund or an exchange, and will advise you what to do next.

Q How do I cancel my order?
A  Where products are in stock, we normally dispatch orders within 24 hours. Where you wish to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible with details of your order number. If the items have not already been sent, then we will cancel the order and issue a refund, confirming our action via e-mail. However, if the items have already been sent out, then we will e-mail you confirmation of the dispatch date and you will need to wait until receipt of the goods back to us before a refund can be processed.

Q Why do I need to register my details to order products?
A Registering your details with us makes the order processes far more efficient. It also enables you to track your order right up until it arrives.

Q How do I know my details are safe?
A Our site is secured using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) servers, provided by AcornSecure, which use 128-bit encryption and prevent unauthorized individuals from viewing your information as it is securely transmitted over the Internet. For increased security we keep no record of your credit card number, so each time you make a purchase you will need to re-enter the information.

Buying and Using Gift Vouchers:

Gift Vouchers can be bought from the Gadget Grotto homepage, simply click on 'Gift Vouchers' in the top right-hand side of the homepage.

Start by selecting the style of gift voucher you would like. Then enter the gift voucher details such as, the value of the voucher, personal message etc.

You can use your gift voucher by clicking on 'Got a Discount Code - click here to apply it' before you 'Checkout'.

 

Gift Voucher Information:

• Gift vouchers can only be used for online purchases.
• Gift vouchers are only to be used by the recipient's email address.
• Our gift vouchers are sent electronically on the date you specify to the email address given.
• Payment for the gift voucher will be charged on purchase not on the date of issue and are valid for 12 months from issue. The value of the gift voucher is your choice.
• Confirmation of the gift voucher will only be sent to the purchaser once the order is confirmed by Gadget Grotto. Gift vouchers can only be cancelled by the purchaser within 1 hour of purchase and will not be valid until confirmation email received. Unwanted gift vouchers can not be returned.
• Items bought using gift vouchers can be returned or exchanged but not refunded, only additional monies paid over and above the gift voucher will be refunded and a new gift voucher will be issued. When a new gift voucher is issued it will expire on the same date as the original gift voucher.
• If you spend more than your gift voucher value you can pay the additional money at checkout, if you spend less than the gift voucher value you will have a credit balance to use later.
• You may purchase more than one gift voucher at the same time.

The Environment:

The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive is now UK law. The legislation aims to make producers pay for the collection, treatment and recovery of waste electrical equipment. The regulations also mean that suppliers of equipment like high street shops and internet retailers must allow consumers to return their waste equipment free of charge.

The amount of WEEE we throw away is increasing by around 5% each year, making it the fastest growing waste stream in the UK.
• Much of the UKs WEEE ends up in landfill, where the lead and other toxins it contains can cause soil and water contamination. This can have a harmful effect on natural habitat, wildlife and also human health.
• Many electrical items that we throw away can be repaired or recycled. Recycling items helps to save our natural finite resources and also reduces the environmental and health risks associated with sending electrical goods to landfill.

Distributors of new Electric and Electronic Equipment (EEE) have a part to play in reducing the amount of WEEE going into landfill sites.

Gadget Grotto is obliged under these regulations to offer our customers free take-back of their WEEE on a like-for-like basis when they buy a new Electrical or Electronic product from us.

For example, if a customer bought a new remote control helicopter from us we would accept their old remote control helicopter and prevent it going into a landfill site by disposing of it safely. Customers must return their WEEE item to us within 28 days of purchasing their new item.

Under the WEEE Regulations, all new electrical goods should now be marked with the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol shown below. Goods are marked with this symbol to show that they were produced after 13th August 2005, and should be disposed of separately from normal household waste so that they can be recycled.
